Holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Nutrition from the School of Health Sciences (SHS), Ahfad University for Women (AUW). Earned a Diploma in Clinical Nutrition from the American Board of Medical and Health Specialties of Training and a Nutrition Diploma from European Nile University. A Registered Nutritionist & Dietitian (First Consultant, 11850005). Currently teaching at Ahfad University for Women (AUW), National Ribat University, Al-Zahri University, Sudan and University of Science & Technology (UST) - Aden, at both BSc. and MSc. levels.
Has served as an internal and external examiner for numerous BSc. and MSc. dissertations. Former Director of the Nutrition and Health Centre for Training and Research (NHCTR). Actively participated in curriculum development, serving as a Coordinator for the Curriculum Committee and Postgraduate Studies. A member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Nutrition Research Consortium for many conferences and a WHO Consultant for the development of Food Composition Tables for Sudan 2023 (FMOH, 2023). Has attended and contributed to numerous workshops, training programs, and webinars. Holds Patent No. 1515 from the Ministry of Justice, Sudan.
